They can be tamed in a few days to a week and kept as pets.
Apparently we have some small wild lizards over here...Though I would have thought it was too cold overall for them...But hey, I don't actually care, so I don't know for sure... ...

Though the snake might not have been pleased with his roommate as he slipped out pretty regularly. I kept a big plant right next to their habitat so the snake never went far, just up into the branches. At maximum size they were both still quite small and cute.
