She is definitely a scrapping cat; she'll nail a dog's face several times really fast (like lightning) but then she does run and hide.

Her great grandson doesn't budge for dogs, will tear them up. He has outlived more than nine lives so far, he is always on death's door over something and then pulls out of it as if he's not going to let anything get him. The vet offered to put him down for free once he was so bad, I said no - let him come home and die. That was like 10 years ago, and he is still here. Here is his picture:

He will follow you around and protect you like a dog would - better than a dog would, probably, lol. He is one huge cat, people see him from behind and think he is a dog. There are 4 of them in the feral colony left, all of them are huge cats, but he is the biggest of them all.

This is the meanest one here, she is the one that taught my huge dogs to be afraid of cats:

They are very different than housecats or tame cats. It is more like a pride, they have a very distinct pattern of behavior and every bit of it is geared toward the survival of their colony. I had to trap them to spay/neuter them (then released them back to their territory), you can't just pick these cats up (or touch them, unless they trust you).

So I'll tell yall what I did... I closed my store alone. My cashier had to leave two hours before we closed and... I was alone in my dangerous town. BUT I SURVIVED!
