Ray tracing is just a method of making a 3d picture with a computer. It's probably how Pixar makes all their movies. It can make some awesome pictures, but it is also very slow, so video games don't use it.
I haven't studied technical arts yet, so sorry if I ask a million questions about this one thing, lol.
I don't care. I'm a total nerd so I could go on about this thing. This is the coolest program I have ever written.
I wanna work in game designing as a career, but can't afford college yet 
You can learn some programming on your own, but graphics is definitely something you would want to at least be able to talk to someone that knows what they are doing.
I'm gonna try to see what I can learn about programming. I should figure out how to properly work my computer first though lol

Heh, a problem I never have these days. Now I just cut it really short(about 6mm) to avoid the problem.
Great in summer, very cooling. Not so good in winter of course, I can't step foot outside without a hat.

I've got those two on my Gamecube. When I bought it it came with a limited edition disc, containing those two and the two N64 games, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Never got around to playing them, though I did play both the N64 games.
One of the best games Iīve ever played is Linkīs Awakening to Gameboy. Absolutely mindblowingly epic! The music is fantastic (of course) and the graphical details are incredible!

Ahh, I remember that game, I had the DX version, that worked with the Gameboy colour. Utterly awesome.
Heh, trying to write an update about Telindil for the "Today in Cyrodiil" thread earlier, only to realize I'd been at it for about two hourse, writing, reading, rewriting, editing, rereading and so-on. I'd written nearly two pages of it, and I'd barely passed the first attack on the Emperor, shortly after leaving the cell. And I'm still working on it.
I really don't think that it's going to work.

So, whatīs going on? Whatīs happening during a typical Callidus day?
At present; trying to decide whether to play Borderlands or Borderlands 2, and which character to play in which game. As it turns out the assassin character in Borderlands 2 is better with a melee weapon than with a sniper rifle, since my preferred playstyle in a shooter is a sniper, it's something of a problem. Even going for headshots, I'm facing enemies that take three or four of them to drop them.
And writing about Telindil of course.

Basically anything can be art, especially if it has original creativity. If you like it however is another thing

Well yeah, but to my mind that's rather like going to see the Mona Lisa or something, and ignoring the picture to look at the frame.
Sure, it might be a nice frame, but the real art is inside it.
