And then I don't know what to get. Part of me wants a Viarelli and just buy a gel battery or something, but part of me wants to get something else. Because screw lead acid.

Just go for the model you want, the battery can be changed if needed.

What I did was start it up once a month and let it warm up a bit to get rid of condensation. I didn't drain the tank but rather filled it up. And yeah, if you store it cold you might wanna take the battery inside where it's nice and warm and where you can charge it whenever. A bit of extra air in the tires isn't wrong. Other than that, meh.

It is decided that my next gun will be the JTS-12 Gage AK Shotgun.

Well New Zealand just banned ALL semi autos, including shotguns, and I wouldn't be surprised if they try pushing that nonsense in the States.
