Seems like the cavator needs a new coolant hose which is located far inside the engine bay where it's impossible to reach without removing the engine. Or something. Haven't been able to talk to my mechanic yet so I don't know how difficult (costly) it will be.

Well, just got off the phone with my mechanic and he seems to think it might be possible to get access to the hose from inside the cabin, meaning we have to remove the wall between the seat and the engine bay. Far less of a hassle though than removing the engine
Hopefully he has time to come look at it before Saturday when he will go on a trip somewhere. I just want to know what to do and if we can do it ourselves.
