I agree. I think the cat is frustrated. There are toys you can buy for entertaining a cat in a confined space, like a ball on a stiff spring standing upright, for example. All you do is touch it and it starts swinging, then the cat goes for it, and you don't have to move. And of course there's always the laser pointer. Gets them every time, and again - you don't have to move.
She doesn't like the lazer pointer.
Her favorite toy is a rod with a fishing line on it that has feathers on the end. But there's not enough room to use it. I tried yesterday and she just stood there looking at me stupidly because I couldn't get it flying in the air. The feathers make it spin while it's airborne so it looks like a bird.
I'm gonna get her more toys. I just need to get a ride to town to do it. That won't be for a while :/
Not getting rides to town to buy cat toys are not tight

We're doing christmas on saturday next week because husband doesn't want to take Friday off and have to go into dialysis on Sunday because a three day weekend is bad.
Cat ate another cable. I'm starting to get annoyed to the point of apathy. She sees the vet Monday. Gonna see if there's something wrong with her.

And that's just the start. She regularly snacks on the shower mat if I leave it down, and she'll regularly gnaw at the door mat too. It's only a matter of time before she goes for the power cable for our fiber box and stuff.

Yeah our christmas lights for the tree are a thin strand of fairy lights that run off a set of AA batteries.
There's so low voltage in them it's hilarious, I think we replaced the batteries once in that month.
No lights up right now though, we're afraid the cat will eat them.

They do learn, you know. My ginger tom went for a bumble bee on the window once. Bumble bees don't anger easily, but repeatedly trying to squash it would do the trick. Tom got stung and had a mighty swollen paw for a few days. He's been staying away from anything black and yellow striped from that day on! And that includes non-insects - he doesn't trust black and yellow striped tape either.

FFXIV is no longer accepting registrations for the free trial. You can no longer buy the game digitally to start a new account. You can buy expansions if you had an existing account, but that's it. They've suspended all advertising as well.
There's just too many people trying to play right now.

My experience over the past 6 years and +10k game hours in ESO has been different.
Have never experienced a queue to get into ESO though the game is very popular.
The game breaks a bit less often than my modded Oblivion or Skyrim did. And when it does break, instead of pulling my hair out and trying to troubleshoot puter settings and offending mods and load orders, my troubleshooting procedures for ESO are to go have a cup of coffee and let the game company fix their game - which they do.
A couple nice things I've learned to appreciate about ESO over the sp games is that when my puter hard breaks (need a new puter or reload of the OS), I don't have to rebuild the game/mods. I simply reinstall ESO and play - Buffy is right where I left her on the previous puter. Of course, the big draws for me are the mass and scale which totally dwarf Ob + Sky combined, and the fact that Buffy lives in a giant world that does evolve so it feels more dynamic.
All is not completely butterflies and rainbows though in multiplayer. ESO is totally single player friendly, but there is no getting around the fact that the mechanics of the game are periodically tweaked and 'upgraded' which can be frustrated as you have to adapt.
Just my two septims.

I think it depends on what you are looking for in a game. A multiplayer is not attractive to me because... err... it's got other players in it - non-NPCs. Nope. Not interested. Tried this concept a few times (not with ESO) and never again. Just not for me. Sorry. No offence to all non-NPCs out there 
but I prefer to play alone. And be in total control of my game world. Yes, that too. Off-line and my own. There's more than enough uncertainty and dynamism in real life, I don't want it in my fantasy world as well.

And FFXIV is more popular than ESO by a mile. ESO is more a niche game, but that doesn't necessarily mean unpopular. it only seems more so because there's one server per region. The server I play on in FFXIV is just as crowded as the EU megaserver for ESO was in my experience, yet there's also about 10 of them. For EU that is. There's also servers in the US(about twice as many) and in Japan. The game was released by a Japanese company, Square Enix, so it only serves to say they're obviously in Japan as well.
Most western MMOs don't have Japanese servers ><
You guys would probably hate it though. The group content is forced on you at least one run of each of the main dungeons for the story. Other than that, there's no forced interaction and in the last two expansions you can run the dungeons with NPCs. Which is what I do, because sometimes, other people irritate me.
But yeah. I play all day every day for the most part, and there hasn't been a single player game out there with enough content to keep me satisfied as a result, so I play games that have regular updates. I can go on several month long benders of Skyrim, but I always eventually get bored of it. If you're only playing a few hours a day tops I could see not getting bored of something.
