Seems the reason she's not eating is kidney disease. Platelet count is also high. They gave me some medicine for her but I might not be able to get her to take it. They said that's fine, too, if she won't take it. It's just steroids to help with appetite.
I'm blaming it on "old cat things". She's 15. I don't imagine she'll be around more than a year. I'm hoping she sticks around for a while though.
And, she's almost forgiven me for stuffing her in that crate.

Older cats often have kidney issues. My own cat that passed almost a year ago had problems with his kidneys. He lived to be 20+ so hopefully you still have many more years of happiness with your kitty!
