It cheapened it, imho. Buying flash with what they assumed would be sexual draw (it wasn't for me, neither of them, lol) at the expense of good writing, quality acting, and in depth plots and characters.
Exactly. I just couldn't stomach them anymore. Though I still think the writing was getting worse throughout the Donna series, once Matt Smith became The Doctor it
really took a nosedive.

I personally hoped Alan Rickman would have gotten the role in 2009.
.
Alan Rickman would have been awesome. Though it would have left me wondering if at some point Bruce Willis would turn up to throw him off a skyscraper

Then again, Rickman is better suited to villains. But can you imagine how awesome it would be if Rickman had gotten the role of The Master?

I liked Amy and Rory, but th doctor? Not so much.
I miss Rose
I really liked Donna.
Donna I never really liked. They tried far too hard to make her special, right from the start. I mean, The Doctor was genuinely astonished that shed been able to find him again. And that business with the Metacrisis...
Personally, while I thought Amy was the best looking(REDHEAD!

), Rose was definitely my favourite.
