Yes, I've made it for my husband and his friends for a Superbowl party. It is good if eaten hot; but the next day - urk.

Evenin' all.

Woke up this morning with my eye back to normal, so I'm chalking it up to another incident of sleeping on my face at a funny angle or something. Considering I've had some pretty restless nights this week, it seems a likely cause. All that tossing and turning, sooner or later something's gonna go bad.

And thanks for the advice mALX, now I've got a checklist of things to do if something like this happens again.

Well, I am finally out of the old apartment. I still have things to do in the new one, namely putting up all the pictures, clocks, and so on that go on the walls. I got my two brooms up, one over the door and another over my bed, and a few small posters, but that is all. I am exhausted, and I still need to go to the grocery store. So I think I'll leave off until tomorrow.

On the bright side since I have a new home, I decided a new tv set was in order. I bought one of the new 4k OLED sets. Wow, does this look incredible, and all I have seen so far is standard hd upconverted, not even anything native 4k.

I saw that Deadpool is coming on on Ultra HD Blu-Ray next month. Since Star Wars and the next Hungry Games movies are coming out around the same time, I expect they will be on UHD as well. Best Buy had some other movies on UHD, so I will be getting a few of those. Once I can actually get a 4k player. No one has them yet. Best Buy is supposed to call me when they get one in. Unless I find one online. But so far I have not found any online that are actually available for shipping yet either. I am sure it won't be too long though.

But I have to go by the post office first. I lost my new mailbox keys during the move. I cannot find them anywhere. I had them when I got the mail on Thursday. But when I thought to check the mail last night I could not find them anywhere. They are definitely not in the old apartment. Nothing is left in there. I cannot find them in the new one either though, and I checked all the boxes, all my pockets, and even under the seats in my car. Grrrr. Now I am going to have to pay for a new set of mailbox keys.

SubRosa, that all sounds like it went fairly smoothly. Sorry about the mailbox key but hopefully that is the only bump. Congrats on your new 'Oh Wow!' TV! Can you hook up puter games to it?

I could. I already have an HDMI cable that is long enough. I tried it a few times with my old tv, to watch Vikings episodes off the History Channel's website on my tv. But the performance was always choppy.

You know that as soon as she buys a new set she will find the old one, right? Could be in the bottom of her purse, that is where I find a LOT of stuff. Or the pockets of my jeans or jacket, etc.
