Destriers bred for strebgth as much as anything else. Mustangs would likely be faster, more agile, and carrying less weight on their backs.

If it comes down to stamina and endurance? Yeah, knights would have the superior horses. But would be gunned down long before that became a problem.

Ugh, finally finished writing Telindil's tutorial section, bloody thing ended at four pages with a tirade from Telindil about how he's a mercenary. Baurus was not impressed. Now I've got to rewrite, or at least extensively edit, his intro section, and once I get maybe a half dozen chapters written I'll see about getting my thread re-opened and retitled. I'm thinking: A Spellsword Sellsword; Telindil's Tale. Something along those lines, but I'm not so good at coming up with names.
