Talk about coincidence! Same thing happened to me. I "never" get what I deem a satisfactorily long more-or-less uninterrupted night's sleep these days, except when I down a strong prescription sleeping pill, and then only rarely. Yet last night I did. Not sure when I passed out yesterday evening. Do know it almost certainly had to have been no later than 2000, coz I woke a bit after 2300 to find a living room light on, which meant my computers were on as well. Crawled out of bed long enough to shut everything down, and to my surprise fell asleep again almost immediately. Woke a second time just after 0200, then nodded off after looking at my alarm clock.) Woke for the day at 0415. That's eight hours plus!
Sad thing is that I feel no less groggy than I do following an inadequate night's sleep. If anything I might feel a bit groggier. Such is life for the decrepit.

So to continue the positive feedback cycle you need to overdo something with all the "feeling good" driving you on. Then you'll be exhausted tonight and sleep more (again). Eventually you'll realise the error of your new ways and lie awake worrying about it, which snaps the loop, and you're back to normal.
Funnily enough, I'm somewhat concerned that since I've gotten more sleep than I have recently, I won't feel tired until later and I'll be right back to 4 or 5 hours a night again

He's getting better everyday, even my dog Loki is starting to tolerate his adoptive son and behaves just like a standard alpha would around new puppies, also positive reinforcement also helps. So far I'm doing the best I can keeping up with potty training, sure there's little accidents but at most if it looks like he's going to poop I simply pick him up and take him outside, he does his business and comes back to me letting me know he's finished since he's still to small to climb up and down the stairs.

It's dressed up as a kids story, but there are some dark undercurrents flowing through the stories (there's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Alice through the Looking Glass that are usually compiled together). Mental illness (though one could argue this is less an undercurrent and more the main theme of the stories), drug use, and despotism are all touched upon. The Disney movie (which is what Khajiit is guessing you saw), is definitely geared more towards kids, as it loses some of the edginess of Carroll's original stories.

Heh, that film was traumatising enough(albeit for different reasons), so who knows what the undiluted books would do
But a quick check reveals that I have both the books on my Kindle, so I guess I'd better get around to reading them. I'm pretty much between books at the moment anyway...

They are easy reads, being written so that kids can get into it. Just read the first few pages and you'll know if it's for you or not.

Speaking of FIFA and such, the USMNT just called up a guy who just recently got his U.S. citizenship that played at my alma mater. So that's really cool to see. I'm pretty casual when it comes to watching soccer/futbol/whatever you want to call it, but I like watching when the World Cup comes around and my alma mater whenever I can. Hoping for him (his name is Dom Dwyer) to get some appearances on the pitch in the near future.

Yeah Khajiit likes watching the World Cup too, but he will also watch the Euro and pretty much any national team stuff if it's on and seems like an interesting match.

Derp, nope Khajiit was getting his Belmonts mixed up. After some research, Khajiit found that Trevor's first appearance was Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse. Alucard was also present in that game.
Khajiit never got into Voltron or the other one with the transforming jets. When he was a child, he did watch Thundercats and Transformers.
Heh, I used to love the old Transformers cartoons. Got the originals on dvd. I still watch them occasionally, though they weren't the ones I watched as a kid.

I think that's why I never got into Power Rangers. I was a fan of Voltron as a kid and when I saw the Zords transform into the Megazord, it was complete rip off of Voltron even down to the sword. After awhile my disdain of Power Rangers came to I hated Rita's voice and the acting was blah.
