Yeah, Malaria pills/innoculations can sometimes have unpleasant side-effects. Luckily, when I had some for a trip to Costa Rica, I just felt queasy for a day or so, but it can be pretty bad for some people.

In other news, I've decided that if I ever need a get-rich-quick scheme, I'm going to sell a line of red t-shirts with the phrase "I'm feeling wonderfully expendable" on it. They'll be an instant hit!

But seriously though, I've been having this pain for like, weeks now. It starts at the lower waist area at my back, and whenever I bend or apply force to my waist to move around, it hurts. I tried massage, but it doesn't help. It may be the bones, I dunno.

All is I know is that it hurts.

It really hurts!

Given your young age and the pain's duration, it would probably be a good idea to have your back looked it. A solid diagnosis is important to help guide treatment.

Sounds like Sciatica(sp?)...

It's a nerve thing in the lower back...I recently set mine off as I've been having to avoid certain things due to a cracked rib, trapped nerve in my shoulder and a chronic pain in my elbow..

I had that when I was pregnant. It didn't go away until I lost 60 lbs of the pregnancy weight I had gained. Or, at least, by the time I had lost it, everything had realigned itself to where it was supposed to be, lol
