We supposedly had aurora visible here in southeastern US back when that solar flare occurred earlier this year. It was cloudy so we couldn’t really see it.
The sun is apparently still burping. We had an aurora last night.
I never manage to catch these events. Too many cloudy days, too much light pollution near the city, and too many trees around my house.
Here in the Las Vegas area, we have neon nights instead of aurora nights.

Over here, buying *anything* online requires a mobile phone app called BankID for authentication. It's like two factor Auth through your bank, it's identity verification to prevent fraud.
As you know, birb refuses to get a smartphone, therefore does not have BankID.
So BankID will not work on a desktop or laptop?

If it is anything like our apps that identify you through your bank, it is for smartphones only. At least ours are bound to the bank in question rather than to everything, and not all banks use them.

Thanks, it's been a long time coming but he needs it. His arthritis and prior knee injury has pretty much taken it's toll him. Just one of those things that happens when you get older.
