This one thinks part of the problem is that, for the longest time, we've only had the original films and the disappointing Prequel Trilogy. Watch each of those a few dozen times and it's easy to get tired of them. The best thing to happen to Star Wars in a long time (in Khajiit's opinion), is the television series The Clone Wars. It's actually pretty good for an animated series geared towards children, with some of the subject matter becoming very dark indeed. Also, the Anakin presented in the TV series is way better than the one we got in the Prequel films.
Sometimes this one feels like trying the survivalist lifestyle would be a good thing. Then he remembers that he hates being cold, wet, and dirty.
I haven't seen that yet, I'll have to look it up. And you are so right about having seen the trilogy; originals; sequels till I was burned out on them. When they were on yesterday, I almost rolled my eyes at the dialogue that I used to love.
Now that you have mentioned it, my late husband and I used to do that every summer = survivalist. We would pack up enough clothes and supplies for about a week (for emergencies just in case) and go up to the Smoky Mountains and tent it for the summer. We would cook off the food we brought from home first, then after that we caught our own bait and fished for our meals. No electricity. We kept warm with a campfire; bathed in the
cold crick.
It was only a couple months, but it kept our children appreciating family times; because most of the time at home they had their noses buried in the TV.
When the trip first started, they would gripe and complain; but by the end they were loving it and hesitant to turn the TV on again. (but by a week being home again, they would be buried in the TV again, lol.)
Anyway, it gave us two months without utility bills other than the cell phone we kept for emergencies; and was a great learning experience for our whole family.

Woke up with a stiff and sore back, preventing me getting any writing done.

Aw, bless your heart!
