My school is obsessed with rugby and I played for a few years. I was alright until everyone started turning into 6 ft monsters....
People take sports way too seriously in high school though, most of the kids that play in my year are already taking supplements and stuff to gain muscle... Basically takes the fun out of everything.

So my son has been playing Morrowind here lately, and yesterday while he was at school I thought I'd try it out. So I started playing HIS game, just thought I'd try it and leave without saving so he'd never know I'd played on his game.
Well, I couldn't stand how ugly all the characters were, so I downloaded a mod that replaces all the face and body textures with pretty or decent looking faces and bodies.
My son was playing a male Dunmer. I didn't like playing a man, so I went into the "raceedit" menu and changed it to a female nord girl with long red hair (another mod). (she was very pretty, too)!
I did end up saving it, couldn't stand to just throw out all my hard work, lol.
Boy is he ever going to be mad when he goes to play the next time and sees his character! I didn't tell him that I did it, or even that I played on his game, lol.
I can't wait to see what he says when he sees his character - guess I better start running now, ROFL !!

The fourth screen is his/her Balmora Stronghold - it has that nice swimming pool and two bedrooms in case you have a follower. I also downloaded a centrally located house mod that has teleports to it from every major city so I can pop in to it and empty out - will have to take a screenshot there, it is really pretty. That one comes with a follower, who is (Rambo, and he does say "Yo,") who is getting very bored. I can't wait till he tells my son's male Dunmer that he "Looks Hot!" because I've been keeping him liquered up so he'll be nicer, ROFL !!!

Thank You! I actually have fallen in love with this character in the short time I've played her, lol. She headtracks in 3rd person!
I have some issues in Morrowind, for one thing - there are no quest journals to refer back to, have to rely on my memory for what I am supposed to be doing.
Also, no quest markers to find NPC's you are supposed to be escorting (so you have to run around in ever-widening circles till you find them).
The biggest thing for me is not knowing if I am going North or South (East or West). I wondered if there was a way to leave the map up in the corner while I played. It would cut down on the screen viewing size, but would sure help me orient myself a LOT. Hope I'm able to do it!

PS: Well, my son came home and saw the screenshots page open with the girl on them. He liked her look, and didn't even seem upset that I usurped his man! Well! So I guess that was an anti-climax moment, lol.

Do you have any games that you keep meaing to get around to play, but never do? Or games that you don't want to get rid of because they're good games, but you're not really sure if you'll ever get around to playing them again?
I realised earlier that about half of my games fall into one of these categories, really need to do something about that...
Edit: I just realised, and I've no idea how it slipped my mind, that despite the fact I got rid of Fallout 3 and the expansions a while back, I still have the Collector's Edition tin and all the bits that came in it...

Just due to the fact that I can't really afford to buy games willy-nilly, everything I buy gets played for at least a few hours, depending on how much the game grabs me.
I also have the horrendous habit of holding onto games that I enjoyed in case I replay them again. Sometimes I do (I started yet another playthrough of the Mass Effect trilogy not long ago), and sometimes I just hang on to games well after the point where they're at all valuable. In the most extreme example, that would be my collection of PS2 games, which I'm holding on to when I have a TV I can plug my PS2 into, so that I may once again play TimeSplitters 2, easily one of the greatest FPSs ever made.
God I love that game...

In the most extreme example, that would be my collection of PS2 games, which I'm holding on to when I have a TV I can plug my PS2 into, so that I may once again play TimeSplitters 2, easily one of the greatest FPSs ever made.
God I love that game...

I still have the original crash bandicoot for ps1, despite being unable to find my ps1

Still keep all the games I have even if I´m certain I won´t ever play them again; CyClones, Need4Speed II SE (I think that´s the one I have), VtM:B and a few more. The only one I have ever gotten rid of is Doom 3.

That facepalm line felt so appropriate for my reaction to my own stupidity

Anyway, been writing what comes to mind with my fanfic(progress on the next part has stalled, but I'm hoping once I clear out the ideas for the fixed points I'll be able to get back on track), and have found out that I've pretty much lost control of it.
As in, there's now going to be at least two characters getting their own chapters alongside Tarvyn. Maybe with one or two other making cameos.
This is going to get complicated...
