Right. He was taking a bath and this bounty killer comes waltzing in talking about how he was going to finally kill him (he had been hunting Tuco since the beginning of the film). Tuco shoots him while he's talking and then comments with the words on the meme above.

One or two

He has a double barrel (side by side) 20 gauge that shoots the "magnum" shells (not sure what it's actually called but Khajiit has heard it referred to as "high brass" also). Have that loaded with buckshot. Also have a "Saturday Night Special", which is a snub nosed .38. That's actually a beautiful gun. It's blued black with pearl grips!
mirocu
Feb 12 2017, 07:57 PM
Ah, the Saturday Night Special. First gun obtained in VtM:B

And yeah, high brass. Have a few of those too. Basically means the higher the brass a shell has, the more gunpowder and therefore power it has.

Khajiit wouldn't want to be on the business end of my shotgun! This one would really like to upgrade to a 12guage pump or semiauto though.

Feb 12 2017, 08:11 PM
A 20 gauge is not a bad choice for home defense. Especially if it takes magnum rounds.
One advantage a double barrel has over a pump is the fact you don't have to do anything other than pulling the trigger to sling two shots, something that's very advantageous in a stressful situation. It even has an advantage over a semi in regards to reliability. Don't know how many times I've seen semiauto shotguns fail to reload on the skeet range due to slight variations in the shells. But I reckon they are reliable enough and if you can fit several rounds in the mag that's good.
But if you're going with a semi shotgun, make sure to experiment which kind of shell it likes best before having it as your primary defense weapon.

Khajiit used to dove hunt with a semi auto Winchester 12guage and had zero problems with it. Dad was very insistent on cleaning practices though, lol. This one is sure the double barrel would do fine especially when paired with the .38. and my tomahawk, lol.
Would love one of these though!

Yeah, if you're going with a pump action you can barely do any better than with the Mossberg 590 A1. Would get it myself if I didn't already the Winchester Turkey.
Pretty good quality gun as well. Like the Mossberg it has steel-to-steel lockup in an alloy receiver, only one extractor though. Really cool system too where as soon as the trigger has released the firing pin, the gun prepares for reload by initiating release of the lockup (not before the gun goes off though obviously) which makes the Turkey one of the fastest pumps out there, at least at the time it came out. The slogan goes "the pump that's so fast it thinks it's a semiauto"

That sounds like a winner! Winchester is a very respected and storied brand too. Forgot to mention Khajiit's little Franchi 20guage pump! It's too long for a good home defense gun but it will tear up some skeet!

My Turkey is long too as it's a hunting gun but it's not impossible for home defense. At least I wouldn't not pick it up if my life depended on it just because it's long.

The ancient Germanic tribes (from about 2,000 years ago) did as well. They would chop a club out of wood with an axe. But it didn't have the usual rounded sides like a modern billy club or baseball bat. Instead they cut the wood so that it made a V shape, with the narrow part the business end. They would hold it with their hand behind their head, the club trailing out behind them. Then they would whip their arm down in a top to bottom strike. Because of that V shape, all the kinetic energy of the blow was concentrated in a very small area. It was more than enough to crush a human skull in one strike.

Looks like I'm going to have to be more careful with my wifi.
A while back I had an issue with someone's Sky box connecting to my wifi, or trying to. Had another one pop up today, connecting and disconnecting. Tried to check the MAC address, but it came up as Private. So I blocked it and decided to do a test with my phone, after making it forget my wifi. It seems there's at least one person 'round my way who's trying to use other people's wifi.
I think I'd better use Keypass to generate a new password for my wifi.
