It feels kind of stupid to base a student's marks not on his understanding of a topic but his ability to speak infront of a group but there you go......

That is some serious bs right there, no question. It has nothing to do with understanding the topic, it has only to do with whether or not you feel comfortable being put on display. That�s it, and grade should not be affected at all by speeches/verbal presentations.

Urgh...

Boy found out, while trawling iTunes last night, the official soundtracks to Skyrim, Oblivion, Kingdoms of Amalur, Fallout 3 and New Vegas...And his current fave game - Borderlands 2...

Sooooo, as we weren't going to leave all them behind, we've now bought, downloaded and put on CDs, all of them...

I now have a headache...Aaaand, as McWife and McGirl are currently engaged in producing stuff for McGirl's GCSE art project...I can't see space on the floor to move off the computer!...Aaaaargh!!... panic.gif ...

I've not played it that much either...I am...Officially...A bit pants at it... biggrin.gif ...

However, I've watched McBoy play it quite a bit this week...And totally loved the soundtrack...Though it wasn't until last night that I realised why it grabbed me so much...

A lot of it is by a chap called Jesper Kyd...Who did the soundtracks for the first three (and half of the fourth) Assassin's Creed games... wub.gif ...

My husband has been growing his hair out for five years, and it's the same length it's been since we've met. Just below the shoulders. It's stopped growing, lol

Whereas I don't get a haircut for a year and it's near my butt.
