Well, looking at adverts and whatnot men seem to be phased out; if you´re bulky, hairy, tough and do typical male stuff like hunting you´re basically not accepted. As a man you have to embrace your female side in order to be accepted these days.

Well in English read and lead don't rhyme, but read and lead do, read and lead don't, and read and lead do.

That's why Led Zeppelin has that spelling, and not Lead, which was what they meant. Before the band had a name, they did a gig, and someone said "that went down like a lead balloon" to which Jimmy Page replied "more like a lead zeppelin" and it stuck.
