The part about the employer made me pause a bit because I'm not employed and I don't have say, retirement income.
Friend of mine said she got her decision on it in 55 days. I'll probably get mine in 55 months. lol. I can't even find the time to a decision page on their website anymore, so I have no idea how long it's estimated to take. Last I'd looked it was up to 36 months because they prioritize British nationals because of Brexit.

I'm not a big fan of Ranch, other than Hidden Valley Bacon & Cheddar Ranch, which disappeared from Walmart's shelves long ago. Still, this discussion reminded me that I've a bottle of regular Ranch in the fridge. Haven't used it in quite some time. Decided to add some to tonight's salad-supper. Only, turns out I didn't properly seal the bottle after last use. One whiff convinced me to toss it. Not putrid by any means. Just 'off' enough to not risk it. Settled for Italian, which proved to be decidedly underwhelming.
Well that sucks. Always annoying when you don't seal stuff right.
