It's a good choice too; this year's tree has to be one of my very best. Perfectly straight stem and the branches are where I want them and how I want them. The tree is even a bit flat on one side meaning it's perfect to have against whatever's in the background. I didn't have to cut or trim anything like I usually do!

How many phone calls soliciting donations for the police can a fellow receive in a day? Far too many, in my estimation. I don't bother picking up the receiver anymore, but have to check the phone each time since I'm expecting a call with results of a heart echocardiogram conducted this Monday. (A theoretically routine periodic checkup, but ya never know.)

Our police stopped investigating theft completely because they have more important things to do. But then again, they don't ask for donations - a wise move! You never know what people might donate.
