For some reason I was thinking you lived in the cottage in the winter.

No proper heating, no winter water, no indoor shower, no washing machine, no internet; Khajiit can see why I don't laugh.gif

Proper heating? No fireplace? Winter water? No snow melt?

Fireplace only gives warmth as long as I feed it. As soon as I stop (because of ash buildup) it starts to cool down. After half an hour temperature drops noticably, not fun when it's really cold. It works as long as temperature is above zero but hopeless during a whole winter. Also, it doesn't provide the whole cottage with warmth even after three hours of continuos feeding, only the immediate area around the fireplace. If I were to live there through a winter I would need something more automatic (air to air) for warmth and use the fireplace as an addon.

And no; we can't use the water as the pipes will freeze; they aren't insulated. And using snow melt is only an option in my mind if I'm desperate for survival tongue.gif

Yeah sorry, I forgot that you also have to work too so probably not a great idea letting a fire burn in your house while you aren’t there, lol
mirocu
Well, even if I'd dare it it wouldn't work. The fire dies out very quickly if not tended to. And even if I was there to maintain it all day, like I said, ash buildup would make it impossible to keep it going for more than maybe three hours before I have to let it die out. If I had a wood stove however where the ash falls down in a compartment, that would be another thing. Wouldn't solve the internet and water issue though tongue.gif

Hmmm, how much would a wood burning stove cost?
mirocu
Around 20.000 SEK or so, depending on the size.

Bird is correct. Exchange rate is very favorable to USD right now. 9.82 Swedish kronor to 1 US dollar.

I need to transfer more money over.

Long hair comes off in the morning!

And my washing machine dumped two loads of water(soap and rinse) onto my bathroom floor today. Sighs. Can't shower either(machine drains into the shower).

Winter at cottage would be horrible. Temperature, depending on area of the country(I have no idea where bird's at) can get to -30 C or lower. Kiruna got snow a few weeks ago now.

I'm in Västernorrland and we had one heck of a snowstorm. Our grocery store celebrated surviving 3 feet of snow and - 30 C temps with a sale(both hit same week, was brutal).

-30 isn't bad compared to further north(-22F) but for us(63° North) it was bad.

Sadly I don't think citizens can legally own a minigun at least not with out a special license. Still this will do happy.gif .
Sakiri
Citizens can own full autos built before 1986 with a special form and a 200 dollar tax stamp.

The gun itself will cost you 10k minimum though unless it needs a lot of work.

Edit wrong year.

Would be cool to own an actual Minigun---but then I'd have many nights of seeing " Pizza delivery vans" outside my house.

All four plumbers husband has called have rejected our jobs because their schedules are full.

This means no showers and no laundry.
