It's still ridiculously expensive. You just don't need much. Single most expensive spice, iirc, along with cardamom and vanilla in the top 3.

Actual vanilla, and not that alcohol filled fake crap, is bloody expensive. And I use a LOT.

Interestingly enough there is a good possible chance that most inexpensive vanilla extract might come from beaver glands which produce a vanilla scent. Foods like vanilla ice cream or even possibly vanilla coffee creamer has this in it.

Yes it might very well been a beaver anal extract shake that I had last weekend, not vanilla...

And calamari might be pig anus. Of course pumpkin is really squash too.

And if you are in America and see a place selling Waigu or Kobe beef, that is almost certainly a lie. Only a dozen places in the entire U.S. really have it.

Reminds me of watching a special on exotic foods seen in Asia countries that cook fish but keep it alive to show its fresh and people eat it...WHILE IT'S STILL ALIVE!!! Then there's rat meat being cooked which doesn't bother me but showing me how they prepare it...For Pete sakes kill the darn thing first before slicing it in half...yeesh.

Over here, the biggest substitute for canned pumpkin among expats is butternut squash.

Because pumpkins are only around near halloween and thanksgiving is after that. They don't sell canned pumpkin here unless you find an American grocery store. Those exist, but only in the bigger cities.

Well, I guess forced music is never appreciated. I have earmuffs with radio so I can choose when to listen. Good thing too since 70% of what they broadcast has something to do with sports.

Politics can get really nasty and ugly, truly the devil's playground. Sadly I've become heavy in politics and still am. I've taken to the back set sometimes but I will ALWAYS point out injustice when I see it and when I do, it usually upsets a lot of people which I don't care about cause to me that means I've gotten their attention and made my point.

Seeing as my field of study is political science, I can't agree that politics is boring. But I am the analyst type, not a campaigner or politician type. There is plenty that is frustrating, but I enjoy the actual study of politics.

They can only hold if for a certain amount of days, don't get it out within those days you forfeit the gun and your payments. But I've made enough payments that I should be able to get it out and not make my wallet cry to much.
Now in February I'm gunning for a Kel-Tec 9MM Rifle with DRUM magazine!!!!
