Ooh, the Block Runner perk is good fun, if you make it that far.
I need to look at mages again. I've always played melee types.
He'll make it that far. And that's one of the perks I've aiming for with him.

Host servers for Haven are down.
Just noticed.
Have you forgot to pay the bill, Cain? Hmm?
Kane
Nov 21 2016, 07:23 PM
Psh. Haven is free. We live off the system.
mirocu
Nov 21 2016, 07:25 PM
Maybe that´s why; it has been free but suddenly they want you to pay!
Kane
Nov 21 2016, 07:28 PM
I wish. Would've been back up and running quicker. I checked the support site, and they have hardware failure in one of their data centers.
Poor Thorny has a nice, green glow and he can't even see it!

Still a bit miffed that my blue isn´t as strong as on the other screen I use; my parent´s one
Kane
Nov 21 2016, 07:32 PM
It is odd. Sakiri's a is hard to make out, but you blue is really bright on my screen.
mirocu
Nov 21 2016, 07:34 PM
Maybe it´s one of those things that can be attributed to my old equpiment; I have an old fat screen and my parents have a flatscreen.
Kane
Nov 21 2016, 07:35 PM
Oi, probably. Time to upgrade your monitor, Mr. Raven.
mirocu
Nov 21 2016, 07:38 PM
Tried that once and got a big 24" widescreen.
Oblivion looked arse on it though and thus I took the old monitor back and even got a second one in spare
Kane
Nov 21 2016, 07:41 PM
Really? That's odd. I play Skyrim on 19" tv, and it looks great.
mirocu
Nov 21 2016, 07:44 PM
Not a widescreen then?
This screen I tried was really narrow and wide and stretched everything out, plus it was way too bright and its sharpness was almost hurtful to my eyes. Couldn´t have that.
Kane
Nov 21 2016, 07:45 PM
Totes a wide screen.
mirocu
Nov 21 2016, 07:48 PM
Well, didn´t look good with Oblivion to me and that´s my main thing.
Hence why I don´t bother getting something other than IE
Kane
Nov 21 2016, 07:51 PM
I don't even know what to say. Why would you willingly subject yourself to IE?
mirocu
Nov 21 2016, 07:53 PM
Surely you already know I use that?
And I don´t get why people bash on it so much. Yeah it´s Micro$oft but it´s always worked fine for me.

But why is Firefox so darn hootin´ tootin´ then?

Because it's not Chrome? But then, neither is IE.
I have a copy of Mosaic, just because I can. And Lynx, the browser for the blind - usually used with a text-to-speech system. Both are useful to check that a web page downgrades gracefully if features are missing.

Two words: standards compliance.
A lot of sites that work in compliant browsers break in IE. However, right now, I'm running Bethsoft in Chrome, because it broke in Firefox. They've probably fixed it, since they update the stupid thing every other day.

Actually it's Bethesda's fault, because they're using https with a cross-site style sheet, and FF objects to that.
Kane

Been on Bethsoft in FF all day.
