Nope!
Like Jakben, Earl of Imbel

Oh ok. That makes total sense!
*in Nord voice* So ah you peeble getting da Skyyrim remausta?
Definitely not.
I completely lost interest in Skyrim when they removed attributes, birthsigns, spellmaking, and threw in shouts. Nothing to interest me in a remastered version. Not that I've got anything that would play it, anyway.
I was pretty disappointed by Skyrim myself.
Edit: bugger, where'd my post go?
Skyrim's one of those games I'm glad I didn't buy, because I know I'd have been the same. What they did to destruction alone(my favourite school of magic) would probably be enough to put me off playing. The only upside I can see to the game is that it looks better than Oblivion, but that's one of the less important areas of a TES game. Or at least it used to be...

I don't agree. The graphics engine rendered far superior capability; but when the environment is almost monochrome to enable that amount of detail it kills the enhancement being worth it, imho.
I was thinking more in terms of weapons, armour, clothing, faces, that kind of thing. They all look better than Oblivion managed.

Khajiit likes the way magic "handles" in Skyrim, that is casting. That said, the shallow spell pool is this one's biggest complaint with the game.
Magic in Skyrim is handicapped to keep it from overshadowing Shouts. You've got a absurdly small spell pool(with some glaringly senseless omissions, like open spells), no damage scaling for destruction, no spellmaking, and it still has the Oblivion problem of prioritising magicka regen over magicka pool.
The hand system was a nice idea, but it was lazily implemented. The idea that you can't take a hand off of a two-handed weapon to cast a spell is just ludicrous. A shame really.
