BB is probably ball bullet or ball bearing because it fires small metal bearings.

With lots of model designations on actual firearms, precursors like "P" often stand for pistol. For instance, with a Walther P22, the P stands for pistol and the 22 stands for .22lr, a common chambering.

My whole point, firearm abbreviations and model designations are often very simple.

Basically it stands for Police Pistol, the "K" is argued about by lots of people. Some think it means Kriminal, which would be akin to "detective" but others say it means "Kurz" which is "short".

If you have a gun chambered in 9mm Kurz, that is 9mm short, which is the same as .380 acp in America.
