True- I recall having to go do something else while the hordes of opponents went through their attack routines. If I recall correctly (and it has been... 30 years?) there could be 6-8 groups of enemies- cannot recall how large the groups could be. But in any event, large enough to allow me to wander off for 10-15 minutes at a time.
And it was also necessary to draw all the dungeons and towns on graph paper- there was no such thing as an "in-game" map.
Did any of the post-thirtysomething crew here play Elite or Frontier: Elite II back in the day?...&^%$-ing Brother and I were having a nostalgia trip for that, as there's a new one on the way...All huge and scary and ripe for exploits...
