I didn't play any flutes, but it does take you to the warp world where you can skip past levels if you don't like them or have already passed them.

I'm doing well, just doing some planning for the Mass Effect-based tabletop RPG I've just started running. Currently I'm writing out some profiles for 'Da Krew', a bunch of prisoners that the players broke out with last session. The campaign looks like it's going to be ridiculous and I'm loving it.

Tell Mrs. McB that as long as her art brings happiness to one person it was worth putting it out there. Judging from her likes and comments she has certainly succeeded on that score! For my part I just loved the Weeping Angel Doll!

I know that feel; I am very private about my fanfiction writing, to the point that I don't think my family really know I write it at all. I'm fine with posting it up here under relative anonymity, though even then the fact that I write this is still somewhat of a source of embarrassment for me, simply because of the niggling feeling that fanfiction is unworthy and I could be 'doing better'. Plus some personal stuff I'm struggling with when it comes to my writing and yeah, I can kind of see where she's coming from if it gets uncomfortable and weird for her.
That's a really cool little Weeping Angel doll, though, love the design.

Indeed...Unfortunately - and this all happened just before my return - McWife had to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting some woman who tried to put her overlarge back end of her car out onto the main road...Sadly, the lady behind McWife was either not paying quite enough attention or was too close/too fast and rammed the boot of ours in...
McBoy, other than an achey shoulder that night, was okay for the most part...
McDaughter got whiplash good and proper...Plus she banged the back of her head on the ridge of the back seat...So I took her to the doctors' just to be sure...And now she's having physio because of the various aches and pulls she got...So that's all good fun...
McMother-in-law who has much trouble with arthritis got her shoulder pulled by the seatbelt, so that's also fun...
McWife...Ah yes...Physically she got some soreness in her arms where she was gripping the steering wheel...And her lower back after the shunt...It's been the stress of dealing with the insurance that's been the worst...Nooot gooood at allll...
...Soooo...Not a good few weeks at all...
Anyways...F-I-L shouted us some for a new-but-second-hand one, as we're still not recovered from the wiping out we had last year with the heating/solar panels...*Sigh*...
So yeah, new to us Ford Focu...Well, that's what it says on the back...I suspect it's actually a Focus, but we love the irony of our car being a Foc-u...
...Really nice to drive anyways...Had a decent run back from Merseyside with it, so that's all nice...

...My own take on fanfiction writing is that if I can do it, I will...My main problem is that I do go my own sweet way with it...and my only fear with that is that I feel that it's simply not anything like as good as anyone else's...And I get...Worried that I'm simply not worthy to be read...So I will just keep it to a select few...Or one even...
Also...My stories tend to get out of hand too...

Wow, Mrs McB is extremely talented. The angel and Sherlock Holmes figures are wonderfully done. I especially like the delicate little hands and fingers on the weeping angel, and Sherlock's eyes. Thanks, McB, for sharing a glimpse of her talent with us.
In discussing what seems to be a somewhat common reluctance to post our creative efforts, I confess that I am among that group. I can identify with each of you. In my case, I have frequently wrestled with the urge to consider my elf ‘too precious to share’. I’m so glad that most of us are able to overcome that though and congratulate those who do for their courage.
