Lol.
I really need to get my new glasses. My current pair are starting to give me headaches.

Due to the pandemic I elected to forgo last year's insurance-covered eye exam, glasses fitting. I don't mind that aspect of it so much. I just regret paying a year's worth of premium's with nothing to show for it. I hope to get a comprehensive exam this year, though I'll wait until I've gotten my two C19 vaccine doses, and healthcare works are also vaccinated. No use taking needless risks, especially with them messing with my eyes during the exam. I just wish they were able to test at and prescribe for the 3-foot distance I view my computer monitor from. I've made do with +2 computer glasses for years, easily over a decade come to think on it. Even though my vision varies slightly in each eye.
My problem is that it was 5 years since my last exam and I got the reading glasses first.
So I use those at the computer, and they're bum all useless for everything else so I have to wear another pair, but those ones aren't as strong as my reading glasses even. They're -7.5 The reading glasses are -10, and my new normal pair are -12.5(higher the number, the stronger they are). Severe myopia. Normally I'd have avoided the place myself, but I legit can't get out of bed without these things on and I was having trouble with my current pair. I couldn't read the signs over grocery aisles, can't read the cans labels and stuff. It was bad.
Now I should be able to read car number plates at a distance.... I've never been able to do that. Ever. In my entire almost 40 years of existence.
