Strangely lest night while playing Skyrim I discovered that your other thuums (however its spelled) can also be powered up and not only your Fu-Ro-Dah by finding a Dragon Wall with the same name (frost, fire etc) and using a dragon soul to unlock it. Yeah I'm late to the party on this one, that the price you pay when you play it once in awhile.

According to a rumor going around Twitter that The Elder Scrolls VI won't be released till the next Gen Playstation or Xbox comes out. A bit dumb to do that cause I don't see what PS5 and Xbox One X 2 (If that's going to be name of the new Xbox I won't be surprised) would do better then the current PS4 Pro and XB1X can do...Then again I said the same thing about the PS4 over the PS3 and ended up eating my words so I won't travel down that road again.

Well The Todd has been quoted as saying they wanted to wait till better technology was out to do the next TES. Makes sense to Khajiit that making the game for next gen consoles will allow them to really stretch the limits of what they can do.

I don't know what the PS5 would be able to do that the Pro can't, you can only do so much to a home console that unless you have a TV that can play that specs that the PS5 is suppose to have you're almost better saying TES 6 can only be played on the Pro. Then again I made an argument about the PS4 over the PS3 and the PS3 can't even run PSN at least not very well. But we don't know the specs are for the PS5 is, so we'll just have to wait and see but my guess its like the PS4 Pro but locked into 4k and won't run on 1080P TV's, that's my guess.

It doesn't necessarily mean that the next generation of consoles will be required, just that the timescales match. Although putting out a game for the about-to-be-obsolete generation would make no sense.

I'd expect TES VI to be playable on PS4/Xbox but maybe only the highest levels of those. Extra stuff (VR?) for newer only.

Forcing a new console onto 4k TVs would be a terrible idea. Not everyone's got a grand or two to drop on a television, even if they have the several hundred to drop on the console.

Khajiit suspects it would play fine on regular ol’ HD tvs. Just for maximum visuals, you’ll need to play on 4K.

But it wouldn't surprise me if publishers did that when 4K TV become cheap.

In Other News:

I got on the Battle Royal train and the game of choice is Fortnite. You hear so much about this game that eventually you cave and sample it only to find it has a bit of charm to it and see what the fuss is all aboot. I actually came in third place for my first try happy.gif.

My nephew plays Fortnite... I can't stand games like that so I've avoided it.

And I could see them doing it(forcing 4k) regardless if they're cheap or not... just to push a tech point.

I usually turn off the chat and listen to sounds of the environment, that way my ear isn't vandalized by annoying people. As for the game itself---it isn't bad once you get used to it but you better be able to multitask if you're going to be a god of this game as not only do you build but shoot as well.

My thoughts exactly! PS4 owner will probably still get a TES VI game but then when the shiny new PS5 comes out and it locks the Ultra 4KHD and we see {Insert TES 6 Province here}and how sharp and aw-inspiring TES 6 is on the PS5. Most gamers will sell their copies of TES 6 for the PS4 and migrate over to the PS5 version then go buy that 4K tv and in the end its all about the monies.

Heh, Khajiit tried playing a similar game called Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds, but this one was terrible at it laugh.gif

If you think your region’s in-game chatter was bad, try playing in Asian servers. It doesn’t matter what game it is, if it’s a Battle Royale type of deal, ‘China Numba Wan!’ is going to be rattling in your brain for the foreseeable future.

Lol, yeah Khajiit heard some of that on the North American server when he was playing PUBG. This one and two of his buddies got grouped with a guy who spoke very little English and his name sounded very Chinese. He was a big help though and actually did his best to help us win. Nice guy.

Played some Fortnite and all I can say it's okay but its just not my cup of tea. I'm okay at some online shooters but I'm not build tower and shoot at the same time good. I might delete it here in a little bit and stick to Battlefront for my online shooting fix.

Yeah you’ll need to have nimble fingers and split-focus concentration to be good there; exactly the reason why I play in teams. I let the others build while I just shoot

I like the picture so much because, essentially, that’s what Ylenno looks like. Whoever made this had some of the scars down pat, even the earrings. It didn’t have the tattoos tho, so I edited a bunch of rose tattoos in with a crappy mobile app and here we are, me committing borderline plagiarism simply because I never bothered to draw. HA!

Yeah not with my disability. I'm good at some shooters and can multitask to some degree but not on those levels. I'll stick to Paladins, Overwatch or Battlefront 2.
