I know I bought a high-end CO2 pistol, but I never expected a spare mag to be so expensive. I mean, it has to have the valve and all that, but still.

Only reason to get an extra mag would be if the one I have fails the gun is useless. At least with the .30-06 I can feed it one cartridge at a time and still use it.

This morning's exercise-walk turned into an event, of sorts.
Phase one sees me walk to the far end of my dead-end street and return. Maybe three lots from the far end, all of a sudden, a large black dog came running straight toward me, barking/growling like mad. I reluctantly slowed to a stop. It reached me and began snapping.
A physical confrontation with the beast would not go well for me. I turned and slowly retreated back down the street, hoping this would satisfy the creature. It came at me again. I took off running, knowing every stride potentially damages my already decrepit knees. In any case, I'm not in my wildest dreams going to outrun a dog. My vicious kicks are too weak to harm a fly. The dog didn't know that. It stopped in its tracks and ceased barking. We faced off a few seconds. I turned and slowly walked back down the street. The dog immediately resumed its attack. I swiftly turned again. Rather than kick, I assumed a wrestling position, looking as if I was about to grapple with my adversary. At the same time, I fixed my face in a menacing expression. Not only did this halt the dog, but caused it to back a step. We faced off a while.
I eventually turned and began slowly walking down the street. It came at me again. I repeated my turn, grappling stance, menace routine. This produced the same effect. The dog and I enacted this routine another few times. The animal then either reached the end of what it considers its territory or simply tired of the game. Either way, it called off the attack.
Believe it or not, while I harbored a great many fears during all this, I was not at all 'afraid', except maybe at the very start.
But it ain't over yet. Not quite.
Phase two of my exercise-walk sees me walk up and down the length of a street two streets away. As I neared its far end, a cat came barreling across the street, ahead of me, as if its life depended on it. Close on its heels was that same dog, now accompanied by a companion. The brutes were too focused on their new target to bother with me. They kept on trucking until out of sight. Be that as it may, I feared they might give up the chase and seek slower prey, so turned where I was and headed back down the street.
That was the end of it. For today. Tomorrow? We shall see. Wait. We won't. I don't walk tomorrow due to forecast storms.

Well I got few things ordered today: I got a drum for the Splat-R-Ball gun, I also got the Airsoft P90 and a couple of Horde Troopers. Mattel is coming out with Horde members both Masterverse and Origins so I'm staying on that train as long as I can.

I miss the 1950s when all you had to do is buy a ticket and off you went. No security or anything. And when you boarded the plane you got a free drink from a hot flight woman attendant.

Used to be that I could just get a ticket, go through security and get on my plane in a timely manner.
The line for security at Arlanda was an hour long at 6 am for my trip to Poland, and I've heard it's even worse elsewhere.
I had no option to buy fast track either.
Oh wait. it's included in my upgraded seats it looks like.

Coming soon! I think I got the timing on the gel balls down pat, overnighting them is the ticket, also need to be careful on how much of the beads to soke cause they'll expand and fill the bottle quickly.
