There are times when I wonder if Bethesda's motivation behind providing a modding tool for their games was to make it easier for PC gamers to call them on their past mistakes when they announce a new game. By the time they release a new TES or Fallout, most of those still playing the old one have modded it to such an extent, with many mods having been used for so long that they become the norm.

What would they do with original ideas? Take a look at where they're taking the TES games. There's a definite push towards dumbing down for more mainstream appeal, and the more comfortable their PC fanbase is with modding, the more they'll be able to get away with because "mods will fix that".

The closest I've got was in this mod for Oblivion. It wasn't a playable character, though, and all I did was rig the creature to the Minotaur skeleton, so it could be used as a monster. The mesh was by Mighty Joe Young, made as a static, so it took quite a bit of re-working. The end result was just what was needed for this context.
I can't remember what other bits of mine were in there. There were a huge number of contributors, and some parts were modelled by one person, rigged by another, and scripted by a third.

Mmm, well tomorrow(today/Thorsday; haven't been to sleep yet) starts this one's two days off for the week so Khajiit will probably go see what is going on at the local bookstore/coffee shop at around 12pm or so. Next he will probably go to the grocery store and pick up something nice to cook for dinner (and beer!) followed by gaming, cooking dinner, catching up on favorite shows of the week, more gaming, then bedtime.

We haven't had a proper bookstore here for years. The one we had closed and nothing else has sprung up. I guess in this day and age we're lucky to still have the library
I live in a very small place so a bookstore would have a hard time even existing here, let alone make a decent profit. But part of the town's soul definitely went with the bookstore.
