I'm glad you're feeling a little better this morning. That was a frightening thing last night and I'm glad you got to someplace you felt safer, as sleeping in your apartment last night would have been hard or impossible.

Our lease is up next month anyways (apparently we signed a 9 month lease instead of a 12 month lease) and we'll pay for the 5 days we spent there this month, but we want out. The only thing about moving is we would have to move to my husband's parent's house, and they don't have internet. But I would pay for it, because I'm still looking for another job and would need it. Sensible move; way, way easier than going around internet cafes, especially since a lot of sites ask you to upload and attach a CV. Plus we still get to have you around!
In other news, I've discovered what a wonderful writing tool the word processor that comes bundled with Google Docs is; I'm starting to have to work off multiple computers so it's dead handy to be able to access my stories from multiple PCs without needing to carry around a USB stick or anything like that. Just need a net connection and I'm good to go!

I think I may have to check into this.
So far I've been using Google docs for school. You can write a paper really fast when your entire group takes a section and writes at the same time.

Hehe, same here; my list of words that my copy of Word accepts has some pretty exotic entries nowadays. I've also discovered that Docs is totally cool with 'Azura' 'Daedra' and 'Daedric', so clearly there were one or two TES fans in its programs.
It's also got a 'research' tool which is handy, as it opens a sidebar that can search either Google or (I think) Wikipedia. Great way to gather information, though the flipside is that it's a great way to also massively distract yourself.

But yeah, women are crazy, dude. This one woman that used to work for my company as a cashier six months ago was... I don't even know what her problem with me is. She was texting in front of customers and calling her friends on her phone while checking customers out and playing offensive music out loud. I told her to put her phone away and keep it on silent (I even said please!) and from then on she had it out for me. We caught her stealing, ONLY when I was the manager on duty, though. Before we could confront her, she disappeared. She came back the other day and verbally harassed me, called me names and said I do gross things to keep my job. (I cannot mention in polite company what she said.)
This woman is 35, by the way. With her own child.

I was kind of under the impression that malaria mainly exists in tropical areas. Where do you live (country) that you contracted it?

Ah, I didn't know that meds for it could be taken pre-emptively. Never been out of the US so I'm kind of ignorant about diseases in other countries.

Yeah I saw that he said that he had been feeling sick because of the malaria meds he was on but I just assumed thar he'd already caught it and was being medicated because of it.
I thought it was kind of odd that the meds made him feel worse than having malaria but it all makes sense now.

Yeah, Malaria pills/innoculations can sometimes have unpleasant side-effects. Luckily, when I had some for a trip to Costa Rica, I just felt queasy for a day or so, but it can be pretty bad for some people.
In other news, I've decided that if I ever need a get-rich-quick scheme, I'm going to sell a line of red t-shirts with the phrase "I'm feeling wonderfully expendable" on it. They'll be an instant hit!
