I've shot the k-pist (as civilian) which I'm sure you know was the standard small arms here before the AK rolled around. It was full auto which became apparent whenever you weren't absolutely 100% focused to only fire one shot at a time. Slightest moment of not concentrating and brrrup - mag gone

There's something more satisfying when you use something that does more than sting for defense.
I've seen birdshot injuries. When the guys roided up on drugs he won't feel it. Same reason pepper spray imo is fecking useless.

This depends on distance. Get close enough and the sheer force of the blast is enough to kill.
