So- I don't blame them- not completely. However, these are yellowjackets and therefore- evil.
The honeybees nesting in the woodpile I have no issue with- they let me park right next to them.
What really annoyed me about the whole thing was WHERE they stung me.
Left thumb and side of the nose where the nose-piece on my glasses rests. So I could not play Skyrim...

Grits- I decided long ago that the ridiculousness of whatever I am doing is exponentially proportional to the chance of someone SEEING me do it. And- when I was in high school (and college)- the chance it was a young lady I hoped to impress was an order of magnitude more likely...

Possible but probably unlikely given the severity of the event.
Lots of people have no memory of very traumatic events like car accidents if they were even conscious during it. The brain works in strange ways and I've met my share of people who were involved in bad accidents and the vast majority of them remember very little about what happened, sometimes nothing.
Two things in my non professional opinion are probably responsible for this:
1. Concussions. When your head takes a hard hit from something this can cause the brain to swell which causes you to fade in and out of consciousness, which can cause gaps in memory around the tome of the accident.
2. Human psychology. The brain sometimes for reasons not completely understood, simply chooses not to remember some situations where there has been severe physical or emotional trauma.
This is probably why her heartrate spiked after regaining consciousness. She probably has no idea what really happened in the period leading up to and directly after the crash.
Didn't get stung for the first time by any form of flying insect until I was twenty-six. Started swatting at this Yellow Jacket that flew inside Subway. It fell to me, and me alone to eliminate this tiny terror, as the two girls I was working with ran into the corner screaming that there was a Yellow Jacket inside Subway, and the customers heard this...
....who were also High School girls and screamed for me to kill the fell beast.
I hung my head with weight of the responsibility that had been placed upon me.
I grabbed the wet towel soaked in sanitizer that we used to prepare the surfaces for sanitary consumption. Twisted into a rattail, and years of flicking the derrieres of unfortunate coworkers had sharpened my skills to a razor-sharp accuracy and I had my weapon.
The buzzing of the insipid insect came close, as though the diminutive dragon knew that the knight-errant was assigned it's elimination and was intent to devour me.
I relied not on sight, but on sound. My head was bowed to the floor as the insect approached mid-air. Until I knew it was in my lethal range...
...like an explosion my deadly gaze raised; like a samurai of old, my towel unsheathed into a deadly arc of linen and water. The force met dead-on with the Yellow Jacket in a motion reminiscent of the 'Slash and Draw' unique to Katanas.
But that same force would be my undoing. For every action, there is an immediate and equal reaction. The Yellow Jacket flew forward into the ceiling alongside the spatter of water, and unlike the liquid did not stick; but rather bounced back.
I assumed the force of my contact would be enough to kill it, but these creatures are as hardy as they are annoying, and fate delivered it to my left forearm,..which of all things it decided to sting. The pain was immediate as well as my fury...
...the creature landed on the tan tilework of our store, wriggling in life and shock. My Converse non-slid sole fell upon it with a thunderous crack, and a twist that I used to put out my cigarette butts.
I gazed in shock and awe at the mark upon my arm. I had no idea if I were allergic or not. As the hours and days passed, it was clear that I was not.
That mark also doomed any future of its ilk and brood that I would meet from then on, for without the fear of death, I bring it swiftly to these abominations of nature.

Mine does it all the time, and with three hunting dogs in the house that are wired by breeding to chase after moving objects that smell tasty.
I'm at my stepmom's right now, and my sister's cat is still here even though she's married and left. Well, I sit down and open my laptop, and Molly, the cat, comes and lays on my keyboard.
I'm like "Uhhh...excuse me, madam." and gently push her off and start scratching behind her ears. Nope. Not good enough. so I push her off the keyboard again and she just rips through the house and then stops JUST short of my face with this bewildered look on her face, then tears off again.

Cats are confusing, lol
My cat is very difficult to put up with. She will crawl into your lap while you're reading a paper or magazine and flop down on it.
She also loves to sprawl out on the keyboard while you're typing just like the cat Liz mentioned. She doesn't usually just run crazily through the house though unless there's any type of flying insect inside, in which case it is time to make sure there's nothing breakable on the counters for her to knock off.

May as well take all those breakables and put them away now anyway. You won't believe how quickly babies reach the age where they are getting into stuff like that, don't want them cut/crawling in/or eating tiny objects or pieces of glass. Cover your electric outlets with childproof covers and move all your cleaning agents/chemicals of any kind into a cupboard high up and unreachable before you need to and you'll never have to learn any lessons the hard way.
In addition to this cat torpedo, there are two dogs in the house. A chihuahua(the one I used to have that I kept for my dad) and a pit bull. Love them both. Wish they would shut up.
I never sleep good at other people's houses, and I'm so sleepy XD I was given sleeping pills to help. Might take one soon.

Last night I had a horrible migraine and just passed out. I was woken up by a call from my roomie going "You gonna come get me from work?"
Wasn't happy XD passed out immediately after getting back home and slept ten hours straight. I usually average about four hours a night, so...even now, my body is readying itself to wake up at five, and I'm like "No, body, you get to sleep in, stop!"

Last night I had a horrible migraine and just passed out. I was woken up by a call from my roomie going "You gonna come get me from work?"
Wasn't happy XD passed out immediately after getting back home and slept ten hours straight. I usually average about four hours a night, so...even now, my body is readying itself to wake up at five, and I'm like "No, body, you get to sleep in, stop!"
Damn that internal alarm clock, lol

My dad and I dug up a huge stone in the lawn yesterday. It was big and deep and it took us alotta digging before the tractor could pull it up. Iīd love to show some pixies but I didnīt have the camera at the time

I was just going for the three major traits that highlight them, but three words that encompass some of the people on here is nearly impossible, it leaves out so much of the person.
Example: SubRosa - there is no way to encompass who she is in three dry words, it would be a disservice to her. It was the same with several on the list; I knew I was leaving so much about them off.

You may need to type them in manually, I do this regardless.

[i ] Also make sure that there is no spaces in between the tags like this. The auto generator adds it for some odd reason. [/i]

I was suddenly having to type them in manually, and never had to do that till yesterday. I went into my PM box and clicked everything in it - turns out I had clicked "Guide Mode Enabled." When I disabled it, the use of just highlighting the text and clicking the button came back! WOO HOO !!!! Freedom!
