Well, life itself gets boring. It's called everyday life. I don't think marriage especially is to blame. Unless you're married to the wrong person of course..

This. It’s inevitable when something becomes just part of everyday life that it can become boring. I just look forward to the big moments we will have in our life together and take comfort in her presence during the quiet times.

I don't think I've ever done that with celebrities. I've met my favorite music artist but he's just like, a normal person with imo a great voice and piano skeelz.

Adam Duritz, vocalist for Counting Crows.
Sleep time tho. Zzzzz...
PS: still peeved he shaved his dreadlocks off. 😡

Well, no wonder you didn't go bonkers when meeting him; he's a dude! No one cares. Meanwhile Jisoo is a girl, a very attractive girl, and that's a whole nother ball game. I also hear she's very friendly which only amplifies my puddleness

But enough of that! Yes! Bed!

It's big enough to hold what I need it to. Wallet, keys, phone and passports. Yes, plural. Got my Swedish one last year.

will make coming home easier because I no longer have a valid residency card, I gotta enter the EU with a EU passport. My US one's stamps look like I overstayed.

That does look like a handy thing to hold your travel papers etc and easy/convenient to carry as well.

Nov 23 2021, 10:47 PM
I'm looking to replace my purse as it's way too big. My smaller one is too small, it fits my phone but not my keys.
My keys are fun. I have three important things on it. A St. Christopher medallion from my mother, and I think she got it from her mom. Patron Saint of travelers. A frog, made of metal and enameled, that I've had for over 20 years, and my dog's rabies and registration tags from the dog i had in California.
That's got a house and basement key, as well as a gun lock key and some master lock keys, small brass padlock. The gun lock i use on my backpack to keep the zippers locked. It can go through all four zipper pulls. Handy.
mirocu
Nov 24 2021, 05:21 PM
I like your idea of using the gun lock as a zipper lock, but I wouldn't dream of having anything else than keys in my key chain
Sakiri
Nov 24 2021, 06:13 PM
They're small things, so it's not too bad. The medallion is about the diameter a 10kr coin, but thinner. I keep it because it was mom's. She was catholic. My sister thought it appropriate to give the family traveler.
The dog tags are small. The frog isn't terribly big either but it's been there 20 years and I can't imagine it not being there now. Used to have a bottle opener too, but it kept falling off. Was a big brass key that'd get caught on stuff.
mirocu
Nov 24 2021, 06:24 PM
I just have too many keys so I don't want anything else there. Two gun safe keys for starters, and they're long as heck.
Sakiri
Nov 24 2021, 06:44 PM
Ah. I have a ton of small keys for various locks that I could probably stand to remove from my main keyring. I don't even know where the brass padlock is anymore. I used to keep it on my pistol case, and I can't use it for luggage because if they need in they'll just cut it off anyway.

Yes, and Grand Marnier.
QUOTE(Sakiri @ Nov 24 2021, 03:04 PM)

These are not your usual sweet sweet potatoes. There's an unexpected tartness to them. Too sweet, my sister-in-law used to say that too. Now she's the one who insists that I bring sweet potatoes. In fact at one time she told me if you want sweet potaoes you have to bring them cause no one else except for my mother-in-law likes them. So I made a half recipe enough for 3-4. They were gone before I fixed my own plate. Since then I've double the recipe to serve 20 and still there is barely enough to take any home.
Not going to say you will like them but out of all the people I know who've said "I don't like sweet potatoes" there is only one who says he doesn't like my sweet potatoes but then he won't even try them first.
Sakiri
Nov 25 2021, 07:14 AM
Not a super huge fan of sweet potatoes to begin with. I like them in tempura, but that's mostly it. MIL makes mixed roasted root veggies with them sometimes.
My mom used a LOAD of brown sugar in hers. Carrots, too. I couldn't stand either. Was way too much. The only two people that ate them was my stepdad and my sister, and my sister couldn't eat too many of them as they made her stomach sick.
But I believe yours are tasty. You've got enough proof of that. haha.
And yeah, the review emails. I can't even review the one item because I haven't gotten it yet. Was supposed to pick it up today, but I'm not going out til tomorrow. -_-
