I spent last night over at my sister's place. Which ended up with me drinking a significant quantity of vodka, and staying up 'til 6am talking, drinking, and playing cards with her boyfriend.
Woke up after about four hours sleep with a murderous headache.
In hindsight, when he walked in with the bottle of vodka(which I'd already put a sizable dent in, if I'm honest), and a pair of shot glasses, I probably should have called it a night.
It was a fun night though.

Sounds like a lot of fun, you just need to learn to take an aspirin just before going to sleep after Vodka, lol.

Here in the US Daylight Savings Time ended overnight. It's the beginning of a retched time for me, sleep wise. For whatever reason, my internal clock will stay on Daylight Savings Times for quite some time to come. I wake far earlier in the morning than I either need or want to in the best of scenarios. This past week or so I rose circa 0230 give or take. Yesterday evening I set my various clocks just after supper hoping it might trick my mind into sleeping in a bit longer. But no. I woke, by the clock, at 0140. If past years are any indication this will go on for some months and never entirely vanish . . . until DST kicks in again and the clock shows me waking at hour later.
Funny thing is, to the extent I do adjust to lack of DST that additional sleep with vanish within days of going back on DST. As to why I wake so early, I believe myself a victim of heredity. Both my parents were early risers. My brother is an early riser. I don't mind being an early riser . . . except that it causes me to get too little sleep. I'd say three to five hours per night is the most I can hope for, with three to four more the norm. I allow myself a sleeping pill once in a blue moon, but even that normally allows me to sleep in only an extra hour or so.

Looks like I'm not the only one having "L" issues. I have to hit my "L" key 4-5 times to get it to type; and then it runs 2-3 "L's" onto the page.
Yesterday the "A" key started doing the same thing. I think my laptop is about to go out on me, urk.

Lol, there are thousands of those really red ones; and gold; yellow; orange; burnt sienna - they really are stunning! I used to love to go hiking up there in the Fall every year.
There is nothing more beautiful than the Smokies in the Fall! They are the whole reason I moved to Tennessee; I was driving through from Florida and saw them and fell in love.
That shows what I know about U.S geography; I thought the Smokey Mountains was in the north somewhere

This is the day I planned to drive to a Military Base for a new medicare-authorized ID in preparation for turning 65. Late yesterday afternoon I was contacted by a medical authority who wanted to bump up a scheduled exam from mid next week to this afternoon at 1400. The exam is rather important as it will hopefully determine if I have a certain disorder, and propose treatment if needed. My ID quest is now on hold, prolly until next week. Luckily I have ample time to get it done. I just wanna do so before cold weather sets in.
Decrepit, I hope todays exam goes well and you are able to get helpful treatment.
This morning I got up and did some Tuesday morning things, woke everyone who needed to wake at 5:15, did the rest of my Tuesday morning things, and then was informed that today is Wednesday. Sigh.
