Yup, 'tis a real bitch.
Doesn't like backlit screens at the moment either, I only really popped in to write a bit about my character. Think I'd better call it quits before it starts feeling any weirder.
Later.
Darken your room and shut off both your TV and computer; lights; etc. You can check your mirror to see if your pupils look correct, or have someone else check them for you. Make sure they are closing as they should when light hits them.
If not, rest and try to get an appointment with an eye doctor. If you need something on, try music. (that won't add light into the room).

It was a bit out of focus this morning, just enough to notice, and I woke up with it feeling a bit weird. But my sleep's been pretty messed up the last few nights, so I figure I probably just slept awkwardly and squished it a little, like I did a while back.
It still feels odd, but at least the fuzziness is gone.
It sounds like sometimes you are sleeping with one eye open/not closed all the way. Air may be drying out that eye, making it sore and swollen by morning from the lack of moisture it needs to be healthy. You may try wearing an eye cover (like my avatar has on) when you sleep; or just ensuring your eyes are closed.
Or you could have a sty in your eye; but you would see that looking in the mirror.
But anyway, there are some drops you can use that re-moisturize eyes that have become dry. It is not good for eyes to let that happen, so find out what is causing it and what you need to do to stop it happening. Eyes are critical to take care of.
