In my case, it is familiarity. I began playing on PC. It seems to work fine so I stayed. I quite don't know anything about PSBoxConsole-4's and their ilk.

The one thing I LOVE about ESO is that you can play it just like a regular Elder Scrolls Game, sure there's social stuff you can do but mostly you can play at your own leisure. It's why I prefer ESO over WoW.

See, I no life MMOs. I'm a housewife, and have about 15 hours a day to play if I want to.
This leads me to a problem with ESO: I ran out of single player gameplay, and the group play sucks.
This is why i play WoW. I prefer group play in MMOs, and if I don't feel like that, I have 7 full expansions worth of stuff i can do. Even the group content from old expansions is soloable now. Waltz in, two shot boss, collect shiny loot for appearance farming or whatnot. A lot of people go back and collect armor sets for transmogrification, which is WoWs version of ESO's costume system. I farm for those sets quite often. Haha.

.True. But no, when you play 15 hours a day for months on end you run out of stuff to do. I just can't stomach repeating the quests. It's weird.
And I've tried the trials. Didn't like am. Definitely not anywhere near Wow difficulty or style.

Yes indeed. Though I can also remember many people hating on it. Wouldn't know myself as I've never played it.
I remember Myst being a BIG THING back in the day. I suspect much of its broad popularity comes from being a game that attracted those not normally interested in gaming (as well as many gamers). As for me, I never bothered with it.

Boxed games I have are Duke Nukem 3D, Mortal Kombat 3, Deus Ex, Longbow 2, Need4Speed II SE and CyClones.

My copy of Red Baron comes in a big box, and includes a thick deluxe manual with photos and such. Both 5.25" and 3.5" floppies. Other stuff too, that I didn't bother to check out (today).
You know, I still can't find much info on CyClones.

Oh! I would really have wanted that big box! I bought it in a shop but like I said it only came in a CD case. The manual was thick, mostly because of the maps. No photos though.

A somewhat hidden gem, I reckon. It was more innovative than Doom in the sense you had to move the crosshair around in order to aim, and you didn't pick up item just by walking over them. Otherwise it was a medioker shooter with boring weapons. Still, it has a special place in my gaming heart
