Not quite, but it's along the similar lines...I've resorted to asking me mother...She's donned the miner's hat and gone down in t'archives to find the old album...

That other one's quite beautiful...This is a shocker to me...Damn...

...Could I possibly...*Shudder*...
Not hate country music as much as I thought?...

...
(I don't really anyways...It's just a line people!)...
ROFL. The thing of it is, being from near all the "birthplaces of country music" (Bristol, Knoxville, etc.)- I nevertheless really do not care too much for it. The early "real" music, yes to some extent. But the overly produced, packaged, homogenized Nashville sound... no.
Now the second tune is actually bluegrass, which I mostly like. Some other examples by the same group above (Austin Lounge Lizards). I wish I could pull the "listen to this" trick on this one, because it is fun to watch the realization of what song it is kick in. Ah well.
Surreal ExperienceAlso worth finding are "Pizza on the Ground" and "George Jones is Playing in the City Tonight"
For a different sort of bluegrass, there's "The Possum Song" by Wild Blue Yonder. No link- could not find a recording I liked. (One of my neighbors used to be a member of the band.)
