They have a SCAR at the gun shop I do my shooting at. I hear it is a great gun (designed by special forces operators and all), but it looks... fat. I want my guns to be sexier.

The Rebellion would have failed without their help. Luke would probably still turn Vader and get rid of the Emperor, but the rebel fleet would have been obliterated without the Ewoks helping the rebels to bring down the shield generator.

Well the battle with Luke, Vader and the Emperor would have turned out the same. Although the Ewoks played a part in the war with the Empire and without them both the land assault and space assault would have ended in failure but Luke still being on the Death Star and a turned Vader might have ended the war another way.
Maybe the Empire should have won?

Took out some of my rifle ammo and I've forgotten how beefy the 30-06 bullet was to the .308.

Thanks---it was tough trying to pick either this or an AK-47 but the AR-15 was cheaper so I got it and I had to get the sights too. I think this is my 3rd AR-15 I think cause the first one I sold to a friend, the second one I sold for a gaming console and now this which I'm not getting rid of. The one AR-15 I do wish I could have gotten was called a hybrid with was polymer and metal AND it was cheaper. I kinda miss that rifle but this will do.
Aren't they all polymer and metal? I mean you do need metal for the bolt to lock into and such.
Closest I can come to this is a Ruger 10/22 with a 30 round mag but considering they're coming down on all semi-autos here I think I'll stick with my lever-action .22 instead. I can crank those rounds out pretty fast too

Mine's body is entirely metal the hybrid I had it's body was all polymer but the inner workings where metal.

My state had abolished the annual check up, so far I haven't seen the consequences of doing that.

Well, I'm really ok with it seeing that I get to know if there's anything wrong with it. I probably wouldn't have it checked otherwise which could potentially be dangerous.
I think it's useless in this day and age. Anyone can buy a code reader for when issues arise.
