The only thing I don't like about PC gaming is:

Yep it's where I edit and upload my churches videos. Though not getting payed to do it I get my monies from SSI due to a disability I have thus the reason why I'm volunteering at my church and not seeking full time employment. Namely because SSI and working don't work well together.

Was getting SSI for almost 30 years, then they cut the cord right before I moved. Somehow my disability was cured, though I'm not sure how. I'm visually impaired and taking psych drugs. Im sure my left eye just magically stopped being blind. Idiots.

SSI - supplemental security income. It's a type of disability payment, limited to certain types of disability. I was on it for my vision and stuff. Left eye doesn't work. Yay no depth perception!

I'd say SSI disability is a good financial net so you have some kind of income BUUUUUUUT there's a LOT of drawbacks.
1: Until you're officially at the retirement age don't work (part time or full time----->SPECIALLY FULL TIME<---) and draw SSI or else Uncle Same gets kinda pissy. My dad found that out the hard way.
2: Its gets tiresome simply sitting around the house watching your life drift by and doing sweet F.A. Thus is why I volunteered at my local church.
3: Having the wrong political leaders in office can make living on SSI a living hell specially if they choose to shutdown the government and add SSI paychecks to that list.
4: One check a month. I get one check and most of that goes to bills unless I'm lucky and my Dad's able to cover my end without any problems and yes I still live with my dad but I'm no mootch. When he does pay for my way sometimes I return the favor.
In total only go on SSI disability if you REALLY need to.
1: Until you're officially at the retirement age don't work (part time or full time----->SPECIALLY FULL TIME<---) and draw SSI or else Uncle Same gets kinda pissy. My dad found that out the hard way.
2: Its gets tiresome simply sitting around the house watching your life drift by and doing sweet F.A. Thus is why I volunteered at my local church.
3: Having the wrong political leaders in office can make living on SSI a living hell specially if they choose to shutdown the government and add SSI paychecks to that list.

Yeah, it's kinda like what we have here and what I lived on when I was out of work for three years. Unreliable, can't work even a little bit and most of the monthly check goes towards bills. I'm very glad I have my job now.
Second point I can attest to big time. It was fun the first two years but then, GAAAAH! I was off work three days last week and man was it boring just sitting in front of the computer. Yes, I could have done stuff at the cottage but it's the end of the season and I was lazy

And he knows I can't really work, though in theory I could try selling crafted stuff. Crocheted afghans and stuffed toys or something (it's a type of blanket, not an Afghanistan person).
