My poker in crime, Gramma, fell early this morning when she went to the bathroom but managed to get to a phone and call my mom who called my dad and they both came and helped her up. She was very lucky not sustaining any injuries considering she´s 92 and a half. Went to see her before I got on here and she seemed to be in a good mood smile.gif

Glad granny's OKAY!!!! And a good reason to keep a mobile phone chose at hand. Me, dinosaur that I am I don't yet own one, though I realize there'll come a time when it'll become all but obligatory. (I still don't like 'em.)

Can't you take her to her doctor and let him know she is showing signs of being in shock?







Okay, the internet says to have her lay down with her feet propped up on pillows and cover her with a warm blanket; and if she shows any signs of breathing irregularities or disorientation then you get her to the hospital immediately.

Someone should be with her, does she have someone there? Or can you go sit with her?

But it was an awesome evening! Nice weather although quite chilly at the end. We got a shrimp sandwich, coffee and cookies and I bought a winter cap. It´s not very thick but I thought it would be nice to have a memory of the evening, apart from the merchandise we got from the bank.

One of the race drivers was Greg Hancock, a three time world champion, and he came to us when we ate and gave us some general info and chatted a bit. A very nice fellow I must say. Reminded me a bit of a guy I worked with in the fall of 2014.

Before the race we even got inside the depot to look more closely at the bikes and we were informed by one of the managers.

It was so much fun to see the race! Full speed and lots of gravel spray that landed on our faces laugh.gif
There was a big crash in one of the heats where two drivers collided, both walked away on their own though but one of them was replaced.

Home team won!! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif



I missed this! That sounds like an AWESOME night !!!

We´re soon off to have coffee with Gramma and see how she feels today. Dad sent her a text late yesterday evening and she said she was ok. She´s a tough cookie so I have high hopes. If only because I have to, you know smile.gif

And we´ve blocked off the passageway at the spot on the pic. It´s not an unmoveable obstacle but at least you can´t easily enter our grounds from that direction anymore which feels good.

I changed the living room all around so hopefully can get my PC in there since my laptop is busted. That and scrubbing the house down the rest of the way (every Saturday and Sunday).

Yeah I hate them too. But these ground wasps are not as aggressive in the long run as those big ones we had before. They just don´t like being evicted wink.gif
