On a completely unrelated note, I've had a pretty good week, to an extent at least. I've dusted off what I started for NaNowriMo, and decided to give it a restart. Got 7,000 words written over the last five days, so while I'm not hitting the targets I'm aiming for, I figure I'm still doing pretty well. And mroe importantly than the wordcount, I'm loving what I'm writing a lot more this time around!
Just got back from me sister´s. Had a little gathering there tonight, but nothing too strong was consumed...

I'll be right over to watch that Mario game! I have an old computer that I can't stand the idea of getting rid of because it has "Chips Challenge" and a bunch of other great games on it.

They can't play any of the new tricks, but they can still do the old stuff that has become obsolete now (unfortunately) - and do it just as good as they ever did.
I like old people. They have experience, stories, they can compare stuff from way back with new stuff and see which is really the better one. Young people usually can´t do that because they´re simply not interested in any other things than the new (not just talking about phones here) and can´t look from another perspective. Heh, I think everything might already have names rattling around inside my head somewhere, one or two have popped up so far. I'm getting like two months worth of notes and ideas dropped into my consciousness all at once. Clearly whatever part of my brain's been working on all this isn't great when it comes to filing. It didn't even give me status reports or anything, just drops thousands of words worth of notes on me, without warning.

Long story short - about four hours sleep meant complete inability to write/game/think-way-out-of-paper-bag...Therefore, in that situation, what else is there to do but research The Nolans?...
...Nah, I was just curious to be honest...They were just around a lot when I was very young, (I was six at this point in 1980) and kept popping up in tv-land down through the years...So now they've started appearing on The Pops I thought I'd just look at their history and see if I remembered anything else they'd done, song wise...Which I did...
No biggie...It's just some small amount of knowledge that made me strangely happy to have found out this morning is all...
