Battletech looks cool too. It's a turn based strategy game, similar to Wasteland 2 and Pillars of Eternity. But with Battlemechs!

Still working on getting there, currently level 35. But I'm kind of hitting a wall at this point due to a lack of better characters.

Level 35 already eh? I feel you about lacking better characters, but don't worry. Once you complete that tutorial for Ship-to-Ship battles, you'll unlock a 4-star Tarkin and 20-40 shards of Mace Windu.

Woooot!!! Found a download of MechWarrior4: Mercenaries that works! Supposedly you can play this game with a 360 controller but Khajiit couldn't figure out how to make the game detect the right hand stick on it, therefore no torso control. Also wonky throttle is controlled with the triggers leaving you to fire weapons groups with the x, y, a, & b buttons. Went back to my old flight stick until this one can play with it more. Boy, Khajiit sure is out of practice with the flight stick! Lining up shots was pretty difficult. Practicing in a medium mech against a light scout mech opponent with unlimited enemy re-spawns, Khajiit killed the enemy 6 times before dying. This is not good.

Khajiit is trying to get it to run on a Win7 64 machine. This is where the problem comes from, he thinks.



It might need the compatibility changed - or may not be made for 64 bit - or even Windows 7, if it works on ME. I had to get an old 32 bit computer with XP on it to run Chips Challenge.
