The Nords are too hot to dress, but to proud to complain. Bethesda will never make a game set in Hammerfell or Elsweyr, anywhere warm, because all the Nords would have to be naked

But being serious; I agree, it's ridiculous. But lamentably, superficial appearance holds too great a level of importance in the minds of most people. And the more they pander to it the more it's reinforced and the more ingrained it becomes. Which leads to this sort of ridiculousness.

I had it on my 360, it didn't require Steam on that. I ended up buying the PC version through Steam - if you can't beat them, join them, lol.
