Anyway, I am in the process of writing something and I searched the IL and UESP for clues to no avail. Do mages have any weaknesses besides being absent-minded? Is there any books in the ES universe that explains how to kill a mage using sword or axe?

TES follows the usual convention of denying mages physical defense. They can't have maximum spell power when armored, so "with a sword or axe" is exactly the right method.

I'd also note that there's often a trade of weakness to magic for power using it (Altmer, Apprentice birthsign) so reflecting spells is a big advantage against them.

I think his little body just isn't used to being around other kids. He has a cousin he's always around at his Nana's house, but she isn't around other kids except him. So I don't know. Looks like he's eating crackers, applesauce and bananas and toast.

OMG, I hope he is okay! Grandmother's houses are rarely child proofed, and with other children around to distract Nana (I'd be worried he got into something he shouldn't have). Then again, Nana may have stuffed him to the gills and let him run around. Poor baby, I hope he is okay.

EDIT: This from the mother who raced her children to the emergency department in a panic if I saw puke. (they were always sticking everything they found in their mouths at that age, couldn't be too careful).
