Danish, Swedish and Norwegian are considered mutually intelligible and if you speak one, chances are you'll mostly understand the other two, though Danish(and Skåne dialect of Swedish) sounds like they have potatoes in their mouths.

I learned a tiny bit of Danish back in the day, and I watch some Scandinavian shows, so I know a few words. They are often exactly the same, or only slightly different between the countries. For example Tak is Danish for thanks. While I believe Tack is Swedish for the same. And both sound the same when spoken.

Swedish tends to be slurred together and I have to make people speak slower for me to understand them. Sadly, it's still easier if they just speak English, so they usually do.
If I ever meet you, I will just speak Swedish fast to annoy you

Well it's December and hopefully at the end of the month I'll finally get that 45ACP revolver out of layaway.
