Making cargo pallets for all the world's trinkets that apparently must be shipped everywhere. Dunno why.
And it's a con because before I got it, I got to stay at home earning almost as much as I do now working full-time!

Not without caveats, though. I was at at mercy of the unemployment agency who could sign me up for whatever bs they felt like. So in that respect it's a pro I got this job. Aaand it's not as bad as it was initially now that I have settled in and do other stuff than what I did first.
Also, this woman I'm replacing... GOOD RIDDANCE!

I've long since passed the point where Bethesda's actions surprise me. I've been waiting for them to try and pull this again. Wasn't expecting them to try until the release of their next game though, clearly they didn't learn anything.

Watched one of those "Americans are Stupid" type videos on YouTube. One of its tests had people transcribe a sentence into cursive. Now, I'm old enough to have had cursive drilled into me in school. I used it extensively a good many years. Yet after two and a half decades of composing correspondence on computer, discounting quickly scribbled notes even I have trouble reading, it dawned on me that I was no longer sure I knew upper case cursive. Tested myself writing out the alphabet in cursive caps. Boy did it feel awkward! Compared the results to an online cursive chart. I made two outright fails, Q and Z. My F is off the mark but bears just enough resemblance to what I saw online to ding myself only half a point, though 3/4ths might be closer to the mark. My (younger) brother, who isn't much of a computer user, still uses cursive for most everything. So does my one surviving uncle, but then he's in his early nineties.

I was a bit weary of Xcom at first but watching ProJared's abysmal playthrough of the game made me buy it off Steam and give it a shot myself and I'm doing WAY better then he did. Sure I play on easy mode but honestly that seems to effect the RNG and on higher difficulty that RNG really screws you in the butt but playing it on easy seems to keep things even for both you and the enemies. Oh I still miss my targets from time to time but no where near as bad on higher difficulty and I seldom save scum except if I goof up a move.

If you want to see someone pulling off a perfect run of the game, you should take a look at Zemalf's let's play of Xcom: Enemy Within. Guy had the weirdest luck I've ever seenl, but he completed the game on impossible difficulty, in ironman mode, without losing a single member of his squad. Epic.
Or, there's Beaglerush's run at the basic game, Enemy Unknown. He didn't get too far through it, but it made for good entertainment.
Problem is, after watching those guys, I ended up playing the game on Classic ironman. Seriously fun, but seriously frustrating from time to time
