Here's my
Division 2 video, while walking around DC I encountered this Dust Storm, odd considering I've played hours on the PS4 Version and never once encountered this type of storm. Either its unique to the XB1 version or it was added in a recent update. Either way its pretty cool...kinda reminds me of my adventures in Morrowind during the Ash Storms.

I only need one shot...or two. Derringers are only good for close up self defense which suit me fine, I'm not really looking forward to getting in a gun fight with a perp

That's why some Law Enforcers will say go for head shots when dealing with someone whose so doped up they can't feel pain. The way I was taught and even as an armed Security Guard they say two to the chest one in the head cause if your first two shots don't stop 'em, cutting off the circuit breaker will; however I've also been told not to go for head shots as a first target because:
1: The head is a smaller target and you could miss and hit an innocent person with a stray round.
2: It looks bad in court.

Go for broke I say if the need really arises and there's no other choice. It may make you look bad in court but at least someone six feet under can't sue you in addition to that. A wounded man can.

“Look bad in court”= greater chance of going to prison.

Some states go with reasonable fear. Like CA.
Homicide is justifiable if there's reasonable fear of loss of life or great bodily injury.
Evidence of forced entry is one way of proving that.
You're not allowed to shoot to protect property however, this includes livestock and pets.

I say go for broke and shoot yourself in the butt then dance a jig while the hot dark rain gushes from you. Establish dominance and control of the situation at hand by proving, through a masochistic display of Foucaldian ethics, that you are crazier than your opponent; thus scaring them off.
Every fight is a mental one. So be completely mental. Remember that.

You know what would be dope? A game that mixes guns and magic. That probably already exists, but probably not quite the way I'm thinking of. You would have your standard and some unique firearms (pistol, shotgun, gauss rifle, etc.), but you can mod them or get bullets that deal some sort of elemental damage. I have what I think would be some cool ideas for weapons, but I don't know how to explain them.
I think a great array of elements for bullets would be fire, ice, lightning, water, earth, and wind. Maybe even some other types of damage like some sort of dark matter. You'd have a wide variety of enemies that have a weakness to a certain element but also maybe some different types of firearms/bullets.
So yeah, that'd be pretty dope.

A steampunk rpg would be perfect for this, in Khajiit’s opinion. You’d basically start off with American Civil War era black powder rifles and revolvers, and end up with all kinds of things that fire cartridges like lever action repeating rifles, cowboy revolvers, Mauser pistols, and maybe one of those old bolt action military rifles you could use as a sniper weapon. Enchanters would be around to enchant your bullets and weapons (melee would still be a thing too, like in
Fallout).
Khajiit actually wrote a brief scene of what an Elder Scrolls spin off game like this might look in
this thread, if you’d care to read it.

Not magic as such, but Borderlands has elemental weapons- fire, electric, corrosive, explosive. And then slag- which is a damage enhancer.
And in the Tina Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep DLC (wherein the characters play a game of "Bunkers & Bad-a**es") it is translated to "magic".
