My Dad had laser surgery for his cataracts and hasn't had any issues since then. I pray the surgery goes well for you.

I was born with a hemangioma on the inside of my eye region near my nose Bridge, upper right side of my left eye.
It swelled shut when I was 3 days old and I never learned how to see out of it. They couldn't remove the extra tissue either because surgery on that type of birthmark just wasn't done then. They gave me steroids to shrink it, but my sight never came.
Sorry to hear that, Saki. My sister has her left eye impaired too but in another way I think 
It's OK, I'm pretty used to it.

Never could get into “The Wizarding World”. I watched the HP movies up through Goblet of Fire but haven’t seen any of the ones after that. I did like Azkaban. Felt very “Halloween-y”.

Though I'm not normally a cat person, I think they look pretty nifty. Remembering that we have a resident cat-person here, I captured two of them before they all vanished, to share with the Chorrol gang.

The cataract operation went well. Over before I knew it; don't remember a thing.
After my first follow-up visit I can say my vision has improved greatly; 20/20 in the right eye. I didn't realize how dark things had become. Now everything is so bright and clear it’s like seeing the world for the very first time. There a few minor issues at night with flare which I’m hoping will lessen as the eye heals. Have to talk to the doctors about that. It was kind of fun the first night to see every lamp looking like a pulsar but it’ll quickly get annoying.
